Belt Railway of Chicago Power, Part 3

This is the last of my BRC photos.  Clearly some of you enjoyed them.

1. Another slide that failed to come back.  BRC 531 in Chicago, IL on April 2, 1971. A SW1500 built March 1968.

2. and 3. BRC 534 and 530 in Chicago, IL on May 30, 1991.   They were a MP15DC built June 1975 and a SW1500 built June 1967.

4.  BRC 600 and 604 at C&NW's Proviso Yards, Melrose Park, IL on September 28, 1969.   Alco C424s built April 1965 and May 1966.

5. BRC 600 in Chicago, IL on April 7, 1966.  An Alco C424 built April 1965.

Thanks for indulging us in the Belt's power, always good stuff. What became of their Alco switchers?

Good stuff Marty, I have always liked the grey and black scheme, still do. It still works on the new Genset locomotives.
