------------------------------------------------------- > Seems to be missing a few parts! Sent to Deer Lodge to cannibalize useful parts in November, 1972. Sent back to Tacoma for scrapping in 1973. E39A was part of the last operational box cab set on the Coast Division. Last run was as a work train on Oct. 20, 1972. Best regards, Rob L. I really can't recall, but would there have been any there in 1979?

Tried to buy the headlight off a steeple cab, but old man Simon would not sell. Would have paid them lot more than what that little bit of tin paid in scrap!
JS&S cut up a lot of locomotives. Remember SP&S FA's, NP F's, RS"s. You name it and they probley cut some of them up! Only thing I remember after that was the Little Joes going to scrap in Chehalis, Wa. Steve Panzik Chiloquin, Or |
