CB&Q NW2s 9208 and 9209 in Sterling Illinois

The Burlington had NW2 sisters 9208 and 9209 in Sterling Illinois on August 21, 1964.  I was there too.

1. 9208 was built 1941 as EMD builder number 1289 and became BN 505.

2. 9209 was built 1941 as EMD builder number 1290 and became BN 506.

Nice Marty!  Could number 1 be across the river in Rock Falls instead of Sterling? It's been so long since I was there when the tracks were still in.

And after all the changes the CB&Q is not the same but Kroger's still exists. Thanks Marty.

The slide had badly faded and once I got the colors right for the switcher the colors for the sky were way off.  Couldn't make them ant better without making the switcher look wrong.
