Uncle Pete in Tennessee

On home rails, Memphis area, early-mid 90s.   Train exiting Harahan Bridge probably NPMEZ, think the train arriving at Sargent Yard was NLME.  Don't remember the details of the passenger special, pretty sure it was a lucky catch rounding curve west at Kentucky St.   Thx for looking.

With the DD40 6936 on the point it was likely an engineering special as the Chief Engineer, Bill Wimmer, usually requested that locomotive be powering his train almost all the time.

Thanks Bob.   I think that was 1992.  What's the status of 6936 now?

I don't think so Bob,  It's power car 207 / 208, a Dome chair, a flat chair, lounge "Sun Valley" and another flat chair.    Not a Wimmer trip.   I'd guess a family days train.

Thanks. Out of curiosity, how long did it normally take you guys to make the run with a Z train?   Were you also qualified on the Brinkley sub westward?
