Nostalgia & History > Uncle Pete in TennesseeDate: 05/03/16 14:40 Uncle Pete in Tennessee Author: SPMemphisFreight On home rails, Memphis area, early-mid 90s. Train exiting Harahan Bridge probably NPMEZ, think the train arriving at Sargent Yard was NLME. Don't remember the details of the passenger special, pretty sure it was a lucky catch rounding curve west at Kentucky St. Thx for looking.

Thanks Bob. I think that was 1992. What's the status of 6936 now? Date: 05/04/16 00:52 Re: Uncle Pete in Tennessee Author: Cjcheely Hello

I don't think so Bob, It's power car 207 / 208, a Dome chair, a flat chair, lounge "Sun Valley" and another flat chair. Not a Wimmer trip. I'd guess a family days train. Out of curiosity, how long did it normally take you guys to make the run with a Z train? Were you also qualified on the Brinkley sub westward? |
