Weyerhaeuser line out of Springfield OR

Here are a few shots of their line that ran NE out of Springfield OR to the reload above Marcola.
This is the former SP Marcola branch that Weyerhaeuser extended to their reload.
They quit running in September 1990.
First is near Donna, Jan 24, 1981.
Second is near Donna also, Dec 13, 1978.
Last is at the reload, Feb 27, 1977.

    Is that the now paved walk path that goes under 126 at the Marcola exit in Springfield?

Yes...that is part of the old railroad grade. 
This picture shows Hwy 126 in the background.  42nd street is off to my left.  The mill complex is on my right.

Was able to make one visit to the Marcola Branch. Interesting to see the reload. We tried to get the old bridge, tried.

jdb did make a few trips and had a bunch of photos posted on TO, looks like he moved them over to Trainweb though.
