A Coleto Creek coal train rolls through North Fort Worth, TX in 1989 with a big "people" box at the end (instead of today's little electronic boxes).

The Coletto Creek coal trains were my favorite train to shoot around this time frame. It always had any assortment of D&RGW, SP and BN power. Any shots of the head end of the train:}

i do.  I can post them later when I get home tonight.  I was fortunate to catch The Grande with Tunnel Motors several times in the area.  Grain trains would come down too, often with a slew of orange Grande hoppers.
