Nostalgia & History > The Tulsan and Kansas City ActionDate: 06/23/16 14:44 The Tulsan and Kansas City Action Author: BNSF-6432 My father took multiple trips from Tulsa, OK to Kansas City, MO on the Santa Fe's Tulsan for railfan purposes. This is one trip documented on video from 1970 as the train is seen starting off in downtown Tulsa. A few random scenes are thrown in the beginning including a MKT derailment and a SLSF train. the view at 1:45 shows Tulsa Union Depot during bad times. The SF Chief and Grand Canyon can be seen leaving Kansas City after the Tulsan's arrival. Enjoy!

That departing passenger F on the Tulsan turning on it's oscillating headlight is the kind of detail you just got to like! Date: 06/23/16 18:58 Re: The Tulsan and Kansas City Action Author: sfn2633 Great shots, thanks for posting
