Nostalgia & History > Passenger Trains in Plymouth, MI: 1964Date: 06/26/16 04:40 Passenger Trains in Plymouth, MI: 1964 Author: bandob In the summer of 1964, the C&O and B&O railroads were still trying for passengers. Their combined timetable was colorful and easy to use. B&O trains to Detroit now used C&O rails north of Toledo, and made for some interesting morning train watching at the Plymouth Depot. First train due in was C&O #49 (B&O 58) which also carried the cars of B&O #19, the Ambassador, from Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC. B&O Power led the way on this August morning.

I didn't have time to wait until 11:25 for the Sportsman, but did get a light power move following #14's departure for Detroit.
