The last train has UP 2954 on it. That was just about the end of the line for the UP's U30C fleet. Most were already gone by December 1988, and the last dozen or so left on the roster would be gone within 9 months. The 2954 itself had about 5 more months on the roster before being retired and quickly sold for scrap.
