Great shot, Frank! That engine crew must not be supestitious. I alway made sure that the coupler knuckle on my engine was closed before going on a run. Didn't want to accidentally latch onto evil spirits, or stray automobiles.

There is much to see in your great photo: the long gone depot & eastbound passenger shed, very early 1st chair car, crossing tower and of course the main attraction - the 4-6-2 with its bell ringing. If one could just look a lttle to the left there is probably a group of passengers waiting for this braking train to stop.
