Here are three shots from 1985 - nothing special, just everyday Midwest railroading.
1) An ex-CGW SD40 leads a westbound CNW manifest at Des Plaines IL on July 3,1985
2) A pair of Milwaukee Road SD40-2s leads a westbound manifest at the same location on June 17,1985
3) A westbound BN stacker passes beneath the EJ&E bridge at Eola IL on June 15, 1985.

Has it really been 31 years ago already?
