------------------------------------------------------- > Whatever happened to the GP40TC units? > > Thank you in advance. 199 is the unit that hit my truck at Race St in Philly when the hostler who just came back off a 30 day suspension from hitting a vehicle was operating a 3 unit set from the 3rd engine back moved the set with no lights no bell and no horn ... Walter Matthau lookalike, the hostler helper was 500ft down the tracks at the pit switch and he was suppose to be protecting the move ... i had track out in the yard and i was gong upstairs to give the track back to Jimmie the Race St yardie which WOULD'VE TAKEN ALL OF 30 SECONDS ... i didn't even make it up the first flight of stairs and i heard the crunch ... the engine house frm wanted me to lie in my statement to protect his boy cause the idiot just came off suspension for the seeeeecond time for hitting a vehicle ... that didn't happen ... first and only time n 38 years i hadda piss cause my boss was an A$$H%#E ... everyone knew it was the idiots fault for moving the units with no point man no headlights bell or horn from the 3rd unit back but my A$$H%#E boss wanted to push the issue that i parked too close enough to the track that the 199 handrail hit my mirror and broke my window ...
