Nostalgia & History > The Reading Company's First Bee Line Service Logo LocomotivesDate: 08/29/16 19:37 The Reading Company's First Bee Line Service Logo Locomotives Author: RDG630 In June 1967 the Reading Company took delivery of five GE U30C locomotives. Since they were an early U30 model they shared some of the features of the late U28 production. They were the first Reading locomotives to wear the Bee Line Service logo on their sides. As was the cae with all the new six axle power they were tested in sets of three on Bethlehm Branch iron ore trains.
