Yes, that's the Silverwood connector that was built after the UP/SP merger. The Eastbound UP manifest (in the middle) could have come up the ex-SP Palmdale cutoff and then jumped over to the ex-ATSF line to head east to Yermo and the LA&SL line to Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. I'm sure the manifests to/from Colton use it, and I've seen a stack train switching from the UP to BNSF there. Nathan Posted from iPhone Date: 09/19/16 05:24 Re: UP at Silverwood, Cajon Pass. Author: atsf121 Nice video, this is why I love Cajon. My wife always asks if she needs to drive so I can watch trains and not the road when we pass through. With 3 trains at once, it's almost like a model train layout.
