Entrance, Alberta is an unincorporated community near Jasper.  Roger was standing on the Highway 40 Overpass looking west at the Canadian Rockies.  He was roughly 450 miles north of Spokane, Washington.

He caught two meets of Canadian National freights.

The first three photos are of one meet including a caboose meet.

The next two photos are of the other meet.

Permit me to suggest you use the same sort of back drop in your photos.

A typical background for Chicago, eh?????

CN had a series of lightweight sleeping cars all beginning with the letter "E" including one for named Entrance, Alberta.  It was in the consist of a train I rode in 1968, and as all the sleepers had their names on the interior end doors, I was amused by the fact the car's end doors had a sign reading "Entrance."  

Made perfect sense to me.
