Texas Tuesday - Sweetwater TX
Author: TexBob

Finally a theme I can participate in!

Back in the day, the Santa Fe in Texas had a split-personality re motive power. You could find quartets of LaGrange's / Erie's latest
offerings on shooters. The next train, a manifest or grain train, might have a sextet of early EMD's. Sometimes, you could even get
a generational "variety-pack".

From an unmarked slide in my collection, here's an westbound shooter (prolly a 588) in Sweetwater, TX with a GP20 / U36C / appears to be GP38.

(chuckling) I started "Toto Tuesday" for Kansas photography over 5 years ago, and I'm really surprised it took so long for someone to come up with a "Texas Tuesday". I figured I would see 'Texas' a week or 2 after my initial Toto. As they say, better late than never. I'll sure be looking forward to ya'll posting some great Texas stuff from here forward!
