5 Miscellaneous Amtrak Photos

1. AMTK SDP40F 528 taken of Train 3 from Train 4, both Southwest Limiteds at Glorieta, NM on October 29, 1977

2. AMTK P30CH 719 with Train 391, the Shawnee, 12th St., Chicago, IL on April 16, 1976

3. AMTK AEM-7 947 northbound at Elizabeth, NJ on June 20, 1993

4. AMTK Beach Grove in Washington Union Station on July 29, 1992.  An Amfleet business car carrying number 10001 (ex-AMTK 21222).

5. Amtrak Train 5, the California Zephyr about 5 hours late, crossing the Carquinez Strait at Benicia, CA on June 25, 1994.

I don't midn at all! It is great looking through the history. I just found it interesting that there are so many Amtrak photos. I almost never shoot Amtrak trains. Keep blasting away.

In the P30CH shot in 1976 if you look closely you can see an Amtrak-painted ex-Milwaukee Road Super Dome as well as a former California Zephyr dome-sleeper-observation in the background in the BN coach yard...
