Nostalgia & History > Louisville & Nashville Century 630 February 1980Date: 10/21/16 19:27 Louisville & Nashville Century 630 February 1980 Author: Alcors32 It did't happen often but every now and then through the luck of the draw an American Locomotive Company's Century C630 locomotive made it to Tampa Florida on a Tampa Electric Co. coal train from the coal fields of Eastern Kentucky. Unknown to me at the time the 1434 would only have 7 months of life left. Louisville & Nashville 1434 Alco C630 Built 12-1965 Ex. Atlantic Coast Line 2012 Ex. Seaboard Coast Line 2212 Ex.
