Great roster shot of my favorite engine model, EMD F Unit, on my favorite railroad, Southern Railway.
As an aside #6142 was the power on #4, EB Asheville Special on Jan 17, 1975.  On that day, my friend Bill Russell and I rode #4 for the entire length of its journey from Asheville to Salisbury.  The weather was perfect, it was clear, crisp, and cold.

Agreed... Great Roster Shot... seeing the bar code on the side reminded me of that apparently failed early use of bar codes on railroad rolling stock.
