Nostalgia & History > BB: UP 7 units, 6 models, 2 RR's Cheyenne 1971Date: 10/23/16 06:53 BB: UP 7 units, 6 models, 2 RR's Cheyenne 1971 Author: valmont The overcast doesn't overshadow the variety of power on this train @ Cheyenne on Jan. 16, 1971. GP30, BN (CB&Q)GP40, SD24, GP20, GP30, GP9B, F3B(?) .... 6 different models out of the 7 units. UP's penchant for often mixing power back then, always brought some surprises. By Bruce Black
