Inbound with three LA Division GP35s. Notice the florescent lettering on the middle unit.
Common lettering applied to SP locomotives during that time period. Wish we could duplicate it in HO.

Outbound beets for Sprekles with unique black widow GP9 spliced between Roseville assigned SD45 and SD40 units.

Thank you Jim. Those GP35s were often seen at Bayshore until they went through the GRIP program.

Yea Tony, Bayshore was great because there was always a nice mix of LA Division and Sacramento Division power there.

I started taking train pictures around San Bernardino and Colton and Cajon Pass in 1974 and I never saw a Black Widow engine and I sure wish I had.
