Where Do You Think These Two Were Taken

They are Slides 13 and 14 on the same roll.  Roger Puta took these in August 1985. I can find no numbers on the sugnals.

Same spot facing opposite directions.  You can also see grade crossing signals in the second frame.

#1 is early morning westbound, about to cross Merchant St and #2 is early morning eastbound crossing Merchant St in Emporia, KS.
...been there ~ done that crossing (a bazillion times... :^)

Those were absolute signals thus no number plates. The signal bridge is gone today, replaced with the modern colorlights on Main 3 and 'Four Lead' only.

LOLOL the Accidental BTTF3  movie year.
I think the real year is likely 1985.
SUPERB photos of a Lovely and SUPERB railroad indeed !!!
