The color and "feel" of this old photo is superb.  It has a softness to it, and warmth.  It really makes you feel like you're there, in the photo, unlike lots of modern digital images.  The details aren't super sharp, but a little bit fuzzy, like normal human vision.

The details look plenty sharp to me. Check the stenciling on that boxcar.
