Goodbye EL

This EL eastbound in Kent, Ohio was taken from a scratched negative probably taken in 1966. The EMD F3A, EMD F7B, EMD F3A, ALCO FB, ALCO FB lashup is an example of why the EL was so special to many railfans.

Great photo. Looks cold and lonely that day.  Really do enjoy seeing covered wagons on freight trains.
