Date: 01/16/17 17:13 Re: Monday MoPac at Jefferson City MO Author: halfmoonharold I thought I'd seen it all, but I have never seen those RS11 rebuilds. You would think an RS11 would be rebuilt during the GP9 era, but this was obviously done during the GP38 era. Strange mishmash of eras and builders!
Date: 01/16/17 19:46 Re: Monday MoPac at Jefferson City MO Author: Rathole MoPac repowered a number of RS3's with EMD engines and dubbed them "GP12" and the repowered RS11's were "GP16's." All were done at North Little Rock. Photos of the RS3's and RS11's prior to repowering are somewhat scarce.
