Roger Puta lived during the 1980s one house from the corner of Church and Liberty Streets. From his deck you could watch the J Church cars go up and down through Doloras Park.  He took these pictures from or near his house.  All in San Francisco in July 1972.

1. MUNI 1 as a J Church about Liberty Street

2. MUNI 1 as a J Church at 20th Street shot from Roger's house

3. and 4.  I want to say this is MUNI 1 on 30th with it's eclispe fender down.  Right?

That is the first time I have seen an eclipse fender except in a movie demonstration. They actually could catch a person and keep him or her from going under the trolley.
