JB Date: 01/20/17 07:34 Re: While working for the PRR 1968 Author: aehouse In photo 1, the second car in the train is one of the few PRR sleepers built for through service with the Missouri Pacific via St. Louis, albeit this photo was taken years after that service ended. The giveaway is the raised belt above and below the windows, which on PRR was unique to those former MP pool service cars.
Also, to be precise, if the photos were taken in March 1968, they are of the then brand new Penn Central, not the PRR. But I initially worked out of Conway when it was still PRR, and then became PC during my time there. But the photos have a PRR flavor.

Ben the pass train has a Approach Limited/Medium and the freight he is on has an approach which tells me the pass train is crossing over in front of the freight ... |
