Photo 2, by this time Southern had signed the paperwork to hand over the Southern Crescent to Amtrak. What remained of the E8 fleet was going downhill. Got it ten years later shortly before its retirement as the 241 at Ludlow Ky. in March 1989. Thanks for sharing your Southern images.
