Nostalgia & History > a Katy moment at Muskogee - 1987Date: 01/22/17 08:50 a Katy moment at Muskogee - 1987 Author: run8diesel We're at the Martin Luther King Drive rail crossing in Muskogee OK on a rainy and miserable Oct. 23 1987. A northbound Katy manifest arrives for a crew change, while a southbound UP manifest departs in a sign of things to come. Miss Katy had only 10 months to live before being swallowed whole by the Great Yellow Borg.

Thanks for sharing the photo. Date: 01/22/17 11:00 Re: a Katy moment at Muskogee - 1987 Author: santafe199 Nice sequence! Like a few other friends in my 1980s era orbit I wish I had taken more opportunities to shoot the Katy while it was still the Katy.
