Here is some more stuff from the early nineties- a trip to Kingman in May of 1991. Blue and yellow was the predominant color scheme on the Santa Fe; the warbonnets were still new enough to be assigned priority intermodal trains almost exclusively. Unfortunately, my old JVC VHS camera had no real protection against the area's constant wind, and wind noise isn't something I've figured out fix in post-production as yet. Nevertheless, at least the roar of multiple 645s comes across well enough!

Nice video! I don't mind the wind sounds at all. Makes you aware they were present. Kind of adds to the feel of the locale.

Yes, nicely done.  The red and silver is a treat, of course, but trains that really stood out to me were the ones powered entirely by 4-axle blue and yellow power.  In 1991, a GP39-2 and a B23-7 could still slip out on a pig train.

Superb videos!

Awesome video, I loved the shot of that 952 train, seen that thing climb the loop and it was always 6 lead units and a 5 unit helper set and all 11 erngines were screamin'!
