Depot + F-Unit Friday: SLSF Sapulpa OK

Another recent acquisition with no information on the slide mount other than a 10/67 processing date.  However, the original eBay listing identified the location as Sapulpa OK, so I'll go with that until a correction is offered; the photographer is unknown:

I think that's right; Sapulpa had a large depot.

I take it that the depot is located between and just west of the junction of the Frisco main lines from Oklahoma City to Sapulpa and from Irving, Texas to Sapulpa?  If so, the train in the picture would be headed north from the Texas line and about to enter the junction with the line from Oklahoma City.

Great photo. I've been trying to find some photos of that depot as well as the one that was in my hometown of Kellyville. The depot in Sapulpa was torn down in the 80's. If I remember correctly the depot in Sapulpa also had a Harvey House.
