Sacramento riverfront photos Ch13 Link

Ran across a collection of photos on the Sacramento Channel 13 TV website. They show the area we know as the California Rail Museum or Old Town Sacramento before the 1930's. Interesting to see the paddlewheel steamers moored on the west bank:

There are some nice old photos there!  I wonder what happened to the CalTrans freeway project models?  They might be a basis for a Z scale layout!  By the way, at least 1/3 of the model photos are shown backward.  The freeway did not jump from one side of the river to the other during planning!
