1967: Strasburg and the Pennsy

Last  photos from 1967 in my "show photos in chronological order" project. Not many were taken that year because of school. All study, few if any trains.
I did make one trip up to Strasburg in May.
The Pennsy line from Baltimore to Harrisburg ran up the Jones Falls Valley in Baltimore and I'd hear the evening remnant of the Liberty Limited, now a connecting coach to the General, as it trundled up the valley.  One summer evening I went over to Woodberry to catch it.
Today this is the site of the Woodberry Light Rail Station.

Thanks for posting these. For you these are memories, but to the rest of us, these are shared good times.

You are welcome, Bob, and thank YOU for all your shared good times!

That's a neat way to look at it that I had not quite realized.

From the description of the General, it sounds like Mr. Martin was aboard.
