Out taking a few photos between trains in Chicago.  3 Jan 77
Photos 1&2.  The South Shore station near the IC station in Chicago.  The second photo is a detail shot of the sticker that was on most of the cars.  Someone can probably better explain it's meaning, but I think it had to do with efforts to save the South Shore service- an ad campaign of some sort.
Photo 3.  The "El"  'rounding a curve on The Loop.  Again, I'll let someone expound on the exact location and details about the car type etc- I could only guess...

Except for the trains, It looks like a typical Chicago winter. COLD & WINDY.

Time to be inside in a bar car with a warm toddy.  :):)
