I'll be the first to say it: It's a crime that this scheme is not used for BNSF in some way.

It's not used for the same reason none of the BN schemes are used, to show that this is a new and different company.

BNSF doesn't realize it today, but they are missing the greatest legacy marketing asset in this country other than McDonalds and Disney.
