top: A flare leads an eastbound reefer train over the east switch Ferrum, CA with the vast Saltan Sea in the distance 6-76. Note the mixed mechanical and ice reefers. middle: A westbound was climbing Cajon Pass near Canyon, CA 11-76. bottom: A trio of Flares was in helper service in San Timotao Canyon near Redlands, CA 6-77. Really like the Cotton Belt unit and the road numbers on the plow.
