An SP caboose at Siskiyou Summit

Roger Puta shot this westbound in January 1979.  Either I have not found, or didn't recognize his shot of the head end, or he didn't take one.

Anyhow, it's a neat photo of the train entering the tunnel even if it is a little blurred because of the slow shutter speed on a dull day.  Roger shot Kodachrome ASA 25.

Going into Tunnel 13, westbound. The siding is the track on the right and the track on the left was a storage track. The indent over on the hillside to the left was where the old turntable used to be back in the steam days.

Today the track on the left is stub ended after tunnel work a few years ago.
