Mike Ondecker Photo - EL 859

There is just one Mike Ondecker photo today. It was taken with Mike's Instamatic.
EL 859 ( ALCO PA-1) with at least one more PA behind it sits at Marion, Ohio in the mid-1960's. How sad none of these were saved.

859 survived a head on collision with GP7 1402 at Newburgh Jct. Oddly the crew perished on the 859 and lived on the 1402. The GP7 was taken to Hornell, NY were it was picked for parts and eventually scrapped.
