The unknown photographer really captured the details of most of the trains that passed. 

Here we see a westbound beet train probably from Spreckles south of Salinas.

LA Passenger Pool F7B and Roseville assigned GP9 with an unusual Nathan M5 horn.

I always liked the look of a single covered wagon thrown in with a few 'hoods.  Very classic late 60's/ early 70's SP.

No, beets came down the Milpitas Line from the SJ Valley via Altamont and going into SJ yard. Change ends with new crew to go south to Spreckles
