Frisco Friday South of Tulsa
Author: arwye

Late afternoon, October 17, 1976, we have SD45's 947 & 914 with GP38-2 #438, heading up a grain drag south of Tulsa Oklahoma, heading for Irving Texas. Richard Yaremko

Bowden, where there used to be a siding between the mains when it was double tracked.

Nice shot Richard.  Thanks for sharing some good ol Frisco Flares.  I like the slight super elevated curve too.

Great photo.  Looks like the curves at Bowden between Tulsa and Sapulpa.

Thank you Brian Stevens and Bill Gillfillan for the exact photo location, which is now noted on my slide. Back then I was in strange territory trying to get a couple hours of railfanning in after work, without the benefit of an ETT. Cheers, Richard.
