A Randon Slide -- UP What
Author: MartyBernard

This was in a group of Roger Puta's slides with no other Union Pacific slides.  Kodak dated it December 1980.  What are we looking at??

Hello Marty,

Now a resaurant, this was originally the "head house" portion of UP's freight house complex near Union Station.  This building contained mainly offices.  Behind this building (to the north) was the inbound freight house; just to the east of it (now gone) was the outbound freight house.

Take care,

Mark

UP's denver brass was in there, passenger departures got their orders from there, as well as eyes on them
