Nostalgia & History > Crossing the Fort Wayne Line - July 1972Date: 03/27/17 18:32 Crossing the Fort Wayne Line - July 1972 Author: refarkas It is a less-than-perfect July 1972 day in Alliance, Ohio, and PC 6501(GE U25C), 2923 (GE U33B) are heading north across the ex-PRR Fort Wayne Line after which they will head west on the ex-NYC Cleveland Line. The bridge with its signals will soon be replaced with a modern, less-photogenic bridge.
