January 17, 2002 finds A741 drilling cars for Owens Corning in blustery conditions at Fairburn, Georgia on the A&WP/WofA Subdivision with what was then the backbone of the local fleet in the Southeast, a B30-7. Time flies...

thank ya, I was still in my slide days, then I wouldn't even give any digital a thought because I wasn't impressed with anything I had seen. I was a late bloomer into the digital era for a younger guy.

I remember those CSX 4 Axle GE's well. They were everywhere when I was livin down there in 1991-1995. Have quite a few shots. And, that's something ya don't see much of down that way, SNOW.  I think it snowed when I was living there 1 time that I recall, March 1993. Was a good one at that.  Thnaks for sharing Dave.  Ben

Worked many B30-7's out of Tucson in the 80's...I personally thought the best thing about those engines
was where the bathroom was. I guess that's not very high praise about a locomotive.

lol, I never thought about them like that, but you have a point!
