The signal bridge at Blue Cut was a great place to take photos before CTC changed the signal locations.

More than likely the shot of 5942 was just after it had been released from the SB shops as the first FP-45 to habe been repainted into the yellow warbonnet. That set of SD-26's was more than likely the headend or helper set for the York Canyon-Kaiser unit train and that 3 unit set was on the Oro Grande Turn or First Dist Local(depending on the date) note the wierd(different) gons that were assigned to the Cushenbury limestone traffic for Kaiser Steel.
