Ex-NYC baggage car at Crestline,Ohio -- Dec78

This baggage car without trucks was used as storage by the Penn Central at the back of the ex-PRR roundhouse and shops.
An interesting device in the foreground -- I wonder if it was used by the Pennsy in the shops?

I think the device on wheels is a old gas powered air compressor!

The location where this pic was taken is really barren today. The stell skeleton of the roundhouse is there, but little else. Writing in the Crestline weekly paper recently, a resident pointed out that the roundhouse is a very dangerous place local kids like to explore. Somebody in town also likes to break into Crest Tower at the PRR/NYC diamond. Tis very depressing to see these once-vibrant locations succumb to neglect and vandalism.
