Going back to when the world was young. A clean new looking SDP40f No.584 brings Train 2 into Tucson AZ on a September Saturday morning back in 1974. My picture taking skills left a lot to be desired and I sure seem to have been in love with those wedgie shots.

Notice the REA van and that red Beetle in the background.

Little did I know then that in just five years I’d spend the next 26+ years working for Amtrak.

The Ektachrome slide was taken with a Miranda Sensomat. What a dog but I guess it got the job done.

It did the job that time with the SDP40F. That's a good looking picture.
