A grab shot at Colfax
Author: photobob

A crew member on X-6329 east reaches out of the cab window to scoop up orders at Colfax, California back in 1959. Im really dating myself with this shot. It was always a challenge to get these shots.

Yeah but unfortunately someone just killed the Feather River routing. I was totally stoked on chasing this thing up the Feather and north on the High Line buyt yoUPee just backed out.

Weird how it would have been the SP Black Widow F unit up the ex-WP Feather River Route this year EXACTLY OPPOSITE of last spring's WP F-Unit up over ex-SP Donner and back! We have both trips in both paint schemes to thank from the ex-VIA PPCX6304 courtesy of Stan and company working with Trains Unlimited...

Still, the substitute trip route looks very impressive.
