Is this also known as Wauwatosa?

Yes, it's actually Wauwatosa, just a few blocks south of the dividing line between Wauwatosa and Milwaukee proper. It was "home" to me - I lived a few blocks north of the dividing line, and could hear the trains passing Hoyt park all the time.

Here's the westbound Hiawatha passing Hoyt Park in Wauwatosa in August 1953. A few months later I rode this train to Seattle. Terrific ride in observation sleeper at the rear of the train!

It's not Milwaukee Road, but it is in downtown Milwaukee, at the CNW terminal near the lake. It's April of 1943. CNW passenger units.

Awesome. My uncle lives off of 88th not too far from there. I spent some time at Grand Ave. this Summer and it was pretty neat.

Here's an older engine sitting in Milwaukee on a cold 1 January 1974.
