Long load on the CN

Sorry if I am covering old ground here folks.These pics arrived in a work email down here in OZ.Pretty interesting movement.Text says it was for producing low sulphur gasoline,and was 254' long.Oakville,ON ,on the 21 aug.Regards,Daryl Kay.

Wow! First time I have seen that much overhang. As long as the center of gravity is vertical over each end all they got to worry about is taking out poles, buildings and anything over 5 ft tall.

I remember seeing some shots of what I think was the same load on its way to Kansas on the Western board a few months ago, but those photos were of the load on straight track. These photos give a entirely new perspective. Thanks for posting.

Same Schnabel car, different load to a different destination.

This is the same load that went to Kansas back at the end of August. It came out of Canada and went to Frontier Refining in El Dorado, Kansas.

It went through Battle Creek, Michigan, on August 25/26 toward Chicago.
