Canadian Railroads > North Bay Memories - 2001

In digging through some of my old pictures, I found some really nice shots of the 2100 series locomotives when they were new. This was in a time before 9/11 when you could go to the yardmaster and ask to wander around and take pictures (how I miss those days!).

Shot #1 - SD75i 2105 and her sister 2102 are coupled and being readied for a trip up north
Shot #2 - Another shot of the pair as they were moved down the track in preparation for departure
Shot #3 - Another shot of 2102 from the other side. This is by far my favourite shot and I always thought this would be a good one for a calendar. SD40-2 #1731 hovers in the background (shortly before she went into the paint booth for a new coat)

Ah, fond memories.....
